Early Morning Hike at the Ag Farm
Join Park Naturalist Sandy Staples at the Agricultural History Farm Park to learn about this historical park and hike the trails through the local countryside along Rock Creek. We'll visit the only remaining Tidewater plantation with a tour of the 18th century mansion and its gardens overlooking the Patuxent River. We'll tour the Maryland Archeological Conservation Laboratory which houses artifacts collected throughout Maryland that covers a period of 12,000 years. Evergreen House/Civil War Museum Tour
We'll continue exploring early railroad and Maryland history as we visit the home of John W. Garrett, President of the B&O Railroad.
