Join Park Naturalist Sandy Staples at the Agricultural History Farm Park to learn about this historical park and hike the trails through the local countryside along Rock Creek. We'll visit the only remaining Tidewater plantation with a tour of the 18th century mansion and its gardens overlooking the Patuxent River. After lunch at nearby St. Mary's College, we'll do a walking tour of St. Mary's City, Maryland's first capital. Bring money for lunch. Naturalist: Sandy Staples

We'll tour the Maryland Archeological Conservation Laboratory which houses artifacts collected throughout Maryland that covers a period of 12,000 years.
