- NEW Youth Soccer field available Spring/Summer 2008 - Cross Creek Local Park Address: Address 3530 Briggs Chaney Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. Field is for youth practices or games, 180 x 300, with 8 x 24 goal posts; playground and water fountain nearby; 48 parking spaces, 2 handicap.

Hoyles Mill Village Local Park
Official address: 14040 Tatani Drive, Boyds, Md 20841. Located at the corner of Schaeffer Rd. & Tatani Drive in Boyds, MD (It's really Germantown but it's in the Boyds postal District). A good portion of it fronts on Schaeffer Road, and is near South Germantown Recreational Park. Nearby amenities - Parking lot with 40 spaces; Gazebo (can not be reserved); Basketball court, and Playground. Field dimensions - Softball field: Skinned area with home plate and a 10' high outfield fence with warning track. Suitable for adult softball and youth baseball up to 13 years old, also youth softball for boys and girls - both fast and slow pitch. Distances: Left field fence is 278 feet - Center field 279 feet - Right field 278 feet. (Pitching rubber will not to be installed since we don't know who the primary field user) - Teams that permit this field should bring their own pitching rubber. A porta john is also in the park seasonally.
NOTE: Do not park vehicles on Tatani Dr.. They will be ticketed and towed.
