Reserving Park Facilities

Agricultural History Farm Park Permit Information

The Multi-Purpose Room at the Agricultural History Farm Park may be rented weekdays or weekends/holidays, and reservations are subject to specific rules and regulations. Reservations may be made by submitting an application to the permit office at least two weeks in advance and up to two months in advance. Payment of the rental fee and damage deposit are required up-front in order to make a reservation.

Weekday reservation policy

Weekday use of the Multi-Purpose Room is for meetings only. No social events are permitted.

Hours of Use
The available permittable hours are 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 10 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There is a four-hour use minimum. The facility is not available on Wednesdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Weekday parking is allowed only on Lot "A", and is limited to 50 cars.

Fees*
The weekday rental fee is $19 per hour and must be paid in advance along with the refundable $150 damage deposit. An additional $34 per hour custodial fee is required for evening use and must be submitted in advance with the fee and damage deposit.

Weekend / holiday reservation policy

Hours of Use
The available permittable hours for weekend/holiday use are 10 AM to 10 PM. There is a four-hour use minimum, and reservations are made in four-hour increments only. The facility is not available on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

Rules and regulations

Permits for the Multi-Purpose Room at the Agricultural History Farm Park are subject to the terms and conditions stated in the M-NCPPC General Facility Use Rules and Regulations and the following:

  • Permitholders enter the building by the middle bridge entrance only. (A custodian will open the Multi-Purpose Room for your activity.
  • No beer, alcohol, or smoking allowed.
  • Food and beverages may be served (including catered meals). No public use of the kitchen or outside grounds is permitted. However, the adjacent deck area may be used.
  • The building must be vacated no later than 3:30 PM on weekdays or 10:00 PM on weekends.
  • Trash MUST be taken with permittee for proper disposal/recycling.
  • Pay phones are available for public use on the outside of the building. No public use of inside office phones is permitted.
  • Permitholders may not access the facility before 9:00 AM and must vacate it promptly at the end of their permitted time.
  • A chaperone list is required for all children's and teen's activities, and must be submitted in advance of the reserved date on the Recreation Center Chaperone List Form.

Any violation to the above rules, or to the rules/regulations stated on the permit, will result in an automatic $32 service charge, and might result in charges for any additional hours used or damages incurred.

Cancellation/change policy

The rental fee is eligible for a partial refund only if the reservation is canceled at least 30 days prior to the reservation date. (Cancellations must be received in writing). If it is canceled less than 30 days in advance, the fee is non-refundable. A $48 fee will be assessed for reservation changes (date changes must be made at least one week in advance and submitted in writing). A $48 fee will be assessed for cancellations.

NOTE: By submitting any application along with your credit card information, you have agreed to pay all applicable fees, deposit(s), and charges due. If you are not submitting payment, please call the Park Permits Office for availability information.
