Description: The Department of Housing and Community Affairs will connect a series of pedestrian oriented linkages to improve the livability and attractiveness of the South Silver Spring area. The Pedestrian Pathway Project Phase III-A, is part of an overall comprehensive Program that will complement the existing street network by providing better accessibility to new businesses and residential development. Phase III-A extends from Eastern Avenue to Kennett Street via County parking garage property (Garage #9).
